I am a proud dad of 4 girls (Liliana, Kyana, Alana and Caliana) with my super supportive wife Sarah, who has helped me reach my goals at Rapids. Outside of work I enjoy lifting weights, cruising on my One-wheel, running with my dog Rick, and watching my girls play on their FC United Soccer teams. I am also a bit of a foodie; I love getting to experience new foods. This has been one of my favorite parts about traveling for work, getting the chance to be in a different part of the country and trying what the locals get at restaurants.
I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to lead Rapids Reproductions.
I started my journey in the printing industry in 2000 as the accounting clerk for Technigraphics while obtaining my BBA with a major in accounting from the University of Iowa. I eventually moved into the administrative assistant position, project management, human resources and eventually general manager. When Rapids Reproductions acquired Technigraphics, I took over as the branch manager for the Iowa City location. I really loved the challenge this new position brought and thoroughly enjoyed the relationships I built with clients over the years. In the beginning of 2020 I began my transition into the controller position. It was a roundabout journey to get to this position, but I would not trade it for anything. My ability to know every facet of the business is a tremendous advantage for my current position. It also helps that I still get to see and talk with clients now and then and I am available to the staff for any help they may need with day to day operations.
Outside of work, I enjoy catching a baseball game when I can, whether it is the Cedar Rapids Kernels or the Chicago Cubs, attending performances at Theatre Cedar Rapids, playing Bingo and spending time with friends and family.
