Had to print 100 of these end-use parts in less than a week. Had 4 of our Markforged printers running 24/7. Our other 2 printers were also running other jobs. Low volume production additive manufacturing is here.
Latest end-use parts from our 3D printers. A set of pulleys made from our composite Nylon/Chopped Carbon Fiber material. Strong on its own but can also be reinforced with continuous fibers to make a part as strong as Aluminum.
Happy to have been able to print these Awards going to Navy Pilots. We painted the fins and the customer applied the decals and provided the etched glass.
A recent customer had a need for threaded inserts in the parts we printed for them. The process we used is called “heat staking” where the insert is heated and pressed into the holes. It really worked well and the customer was happy with them.
